How to Root Samsung Galaxy Ace GT 5830 Tutorial

Procedure to Root Samsung Galaxy Ace GT 5830:

  • First up you will have to download the XXKP9 Gingerbread 2.3.3 Rooting package to your computer and need to ensure that you are not unzipping the file.
  • So, as soon as you download the zip file, you will have to connect the Galaxy Ace phone with your computer using the USB cable and need to choose the mass storage option and just place this zip file without renaming or editing or even unzipping the same into the phone. Ensure that you don’t place this file in any of the sub folders or this file will not be recognized.
  • After placing the file, you will have to switch off your Samsung Galaxy Ace GT 5830 phone by removing the USB cable which is connected with the computer.
  • Now, you will have to switch ON your device in the recovery Mode which can be done by holding the Middle button and then Power ON the device by pressing the Power ON button.
  • After doing this you will see that you will be in the recovery mode, if the device normally reboots which will be the case for all first timers then you will have to re follow the process of entering the recovery mode after again switching off the device and then trying to switch ON the device in the Recovery mode.

Recovery Mode Galaxy Ace

  • In recovery mode, you will see the option called update from SD Card, select this option and then you will see that the list of files will come from which you will have to select the file which is named as AceGingerbread2.3.3Root.zip.
  • After selecting the file you will see that the rooting process will be initiated and the same will be done in 5-7 minutes of maximum time.

As soon as the process is completed, you will see that you will again come back to the list in the recovery mode. Now, in the recovery mode, you will have to select the option called “reboot in normal mode”.  So, there you go, as soon as you select the option of reboot you will find that the Galaxy Ace has been successfully rooted.
